1 stick butter
1 c. self-rising flour
2 c. sugar, divided
1 egg
3/4 c. milk
1 qt. peaches
1 tsp. vanilla
Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix flour, sugar, milk and egg. Pour over the melted butter. Dissolve 1 cup sugar in peaches and add vanilla. Spoon over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour until golden brown.
