Kitten Jealousy

The barn kitties decided to show their cuteness so I would post about them. They informed me that the goats and chicken get their fair share of blog time and they would like to have their 15 minutes of fame....Please and Meow!
These are the babies of a stray momma that decided to take up permanent residence in our barn. Not long after she had her kittens, I heard a loud meowing in the barn loft. Little Bit here had decided to climb and then fall between all the bales of hay.

I moved 23 bails of hay one morning just to get to a stray kitten that I didn't need in the first place. She has always been the runt and has the funniest looking little smooshed up face. She makes me laugh every day!

I noticed the mother cat seemed to be sick one day and she later disappeared. Not sure what happened to her but I got to play momma after that.

The yellow and white one is by far the gentlest. She loves to be loved on. The boys make sure she gets plenty of attention. The other two are just getting used to being petted but not ready to be picked up.

I learned this first hand when I tried to pick up the gray and white one. I ended up with a few scratches BUT when their mother first disappeared and I started feeding them goats milk and soft kitten food, I couldn't get within 10 feet of them they were so wild.

And of course I have to mention the big baby of the family, Dirt Cat! He's looking for mice in the goat stall. He has had a long road to recovery but he caught a bird yesterday for the first time since he got sick. It made me smile to know he's back to being Dirt Cat, hunter, stalker, bird and mousenapper!

Your kittens are so cute! I haven't had a cat since I was a kid. We don't want a house cat and it's too dangerous where we live to have one outside, so I'll just have to look at other people's cute cats. The little black and white one is adorable.

KK, he earned that name from sleeping in flower pots when he was a little kitten. He used to pull my plants up and curl up in the pot.

aw I love cats. I love to read stories about everyone else's cats, even if they are strays. ;) That first photo is funny with them lookin like they are giving dirty looks.

Cute kitties for sure! I have a mac and when I load this blog it causes my browser (safari) to quit and I get a box asking if I should continue to run whatever script is running on your page that is causing the problem. It didn't identify what the "thing" is. Sorry. But I'm going to have to quit reading your blog for awhile. Sad.

Callie, I am running Firefox and I am getting the same thing today. I have even tried the Don't ask me again and stop script and I'm still getting it. I have been trying to figure out what is causing it. I haven't added anything new to my site. Just did this post and it stared. I will keep trying to figure it out. Sorry it is causing your browser to quit!

DB it does do that every now and then I just mark the Stop Script from running and it works. Not a biggy !!

Aww....look at them kitties!!!

Thanks Oakie,
I have stopped just about every script I can think of on my page and nothing has changed it. It indicates that it is a problem with one of the comments but I have no way of knowing which one. It does it each time it tries to load them. I have had it happen before and then later fix itself. I wonder if it's a hang up with google from time to time? If I ever figure it out, I'll do a post on how to prevent it! :)

I am sorry to all of you getting this message. Please hang in here with me.

I have a new post ready for tomorrow. Maybe it won't be there on the next one!

DB it never did this until you changed your blog. Remember when you shut down for a little while? Maybe it has something to do with that. Oh gosh I am not even sure what I said!! LOL!!!

Oh dear its worse now! It says this on my end:

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: http://mycountryblogofthisandthat.blogspot.com/2009/11/jealousy.html?showComment=1257558284832#c605620486315504684:1286

That's what I've been getting today too. I've been trying to figure it out for the past 3 hours. It doesn't do it on any of the other posts. I think I'll delete this one and try again!

I think I figured it out! I finally removed the tag "Dirt Cat" from the label at the bottom of the post and it loaded fine. I pout it back and it stopped the script again. Why this is happening, I don't know but I am happy that it is such a simple problem (even though it took me 4 hours to figure it out).
