It's hard work, but I had some help!
My boys are growing up and turning into regular little farm hands.
Luke helped load the trailer while Jake was hauling it to the fertilize pile and sweeping out the tack room.
I do believe my "ladies" will be happy to see their floor again!
Hey come back here! We're not done yet! We gotta muck out the horse stalls!!
Sorry Mom, scooping chicken poop is enough for one day!

I'm not trying to be a know-it-all, but I'd suggest dust maskes while scooping poop, especially chicken poop. I saw an article once on the different type of cancers that farmers got, and most seemed related to dusty poop.
Cleaning out the coop is a rough job! Nice to see that you had some cute help.
Gorges, thanks for mentioning that! We did put them on today. The dust was really bad and Luke ad I both get chocked up around it in the barn so if it's really fogging we wear then. Like you, I have read to wear one when cleaning out the chicken coop! Thanks!
I wish I had help cleaning my coop. You're a lucky mom.
Mobile coops = no cleaning!
What great little helpers!
You use what is called the 'deep litter' method then? Just curious.
I did not know that about masks. Learn something every day. :)
Good lil helpers... guess I need to get me some mask. What all do you use on the floor of your coop? I love to hear how other chicken farmers are doin things.
Such good help! I'm sure the ladies are happy now.
