Nikon D3000

I know I promised vacation pics but I have misplaced my SD card!! It's here somewhere, I just don't know where! In the meantime I want to tell you about my experience with the Nikon D3000 DSLR this past weekend. I don't usually do product reviews but in the 20 minutes that I got to play with this camera I fell in love!
Photobucket
The in-laws were in from Nashville on Sunday and I picked my mother-in-laws camera up and started chasing my boys around outside.
Photobucket
I love the clarity of these pics. I told my mother-in-law I was going to hide her camera in my couch so she couldn't take it home.
Photobucket
I really was serious!
Photobucket
She told me I didn't have too...
Photobucket
that I had a birthday in June......
Photobucket
and that if that's what I wanted then that's what she would get me.
After I popped my eyeballs back in to my head and wiped the drool off my chin....
Photobucket
I said , "Are you sure?" and she said.....
Photobucket
"YES!"
Hurry up June 13th!!!!!!
I'm already picking out lenses and accessories!

Wow! What a wonderful gift! The pics are fabulous! I will have to look this up online.... my birthday is the same day as yours! Maybe hubby would get me one??

Is that your MIL's dog she is holding? A Bishon?

Sunny, I don't know what he is exactly! He is a rescue dog that she has had for about a year now and he is spoiled rotten. His name is Antonio. He has to have surgery on his leg this week :(. I'm so glad someone rescued him that loves him and takes such good care of him. I'll be sure to ask her what breed he is next time I talk to her.

Antonio looks like a Maltese.

Oh my gosh!! You have a wonderful mother-in-law. The pics are great!

I am very lucky and blessed. She spoils all of us.

I just looked at these pics on an old monitor at my husbands work place and they don't look good! Thank goodness for new flat screens and higher resolutions LOL!

I forget that all monitors look differnet!

My spouse asked me last week if I knew what I wanted for my birthday. (June 2). Now I do!

Congrats on the awesome gift. Pictures can say more than words ever will and I am sure you will say a lot with that camera.
Looking forward to it.

Wow, great portrait shots! You should have them printed out and framed!!!
I'm with Cheryl. I think Antonio looks like a Maltese. Hopefully you will let us know the answer to the mystery! :-)
