I promised you a give away and here it is! Since I have men and women readers, I wanted to do something that either could enjoy if he/she is the lucky winner! I am giving away a $20 Amazon.com gift card! I know it's not a lot but hey it's 20 bucks! That buys a bag of chicken feed around here!
I've been playing with the new lens, Photoshop and some free Valentine templates I got from The Album Cafe. I made Jake's Valentine's for his class this year.
I'll have them printed as 3.5 x 2.5 and put them in little Valentine envelopes.
All you have to do to win the gift card is be a follower and leave me a comment. You can tell me what your plans are for Valentine's Day or how you met your significant other or just say I want that gift card!!

I picked my wife up walking around a road...she hates when I say that :). LOL! Actually I did meet her the first time walking down a road. I knew her younger sister and they were walking the road near their house. I was driving by and stopped to talk. That was 31 years ago and the rest is history :).
My Valentine's day will be celebrated a day early because of work. My hubby will be taking me to Red Lobster for dinner. I met him on-line. I was on a dating site and after a few duds, lol, I was ending the few subscriptions and the last and final one was on Yahoo personals. There was one message awaiting me and for my curiosity to see what it said...I read it. Here it was him stating that he lived near me and that he wanted to meet. We talked on the phone and I told him I was deleting my personal ad because I was done with on-line dating and decided I would read just one more. We talked for a few weeks and then met. To end a short story...we have been together for 3 years now. To this day I'm sure glad I didn't delete without reading that last message.

I met my SO in a parking lot. And I would love to have a gift card to spend on him.
We met when I worked at a college bookstore...he came in and I "checked him out" haha. We don't have plans yet, but I'm sure we'll go out to eat!

Just broke up so no celebrating this Valentine's day :( Going to a job interview at 10 am (wish me luck please!), and then back to work until done (meaning I'll probably be off at 10 pm)... That giftcard would make my day!

I would like to share a little about how I met my husband. We met through eHarmony back in November of 2004. We communicated through the site for 2 weeks and knew we would be married. We didn't even lay eyes on each other before March of 2005. We married November of 2006. Our plans for Valentine's day is usually a surprise for me from my husband.
