Deck the Halls

or at least the living room, fireplace and loft railing. We decided to go with a live white pine this year so we can plant it outside after the holidays.

I have my snowmen on the top mantle and my nativity scene on top of the fireplace.

I love the way the railing turned out. I think I'll take the boys pic for our Christmas card on each side of the wreath this year.

Post a link to the pics of your decorations! I would love to see them!

Your decorations are gorgous! I love the look of your house with the fireplace & stone work. Our house is under construction this year, so I am not doing decorations. As a result, I enjoy others' decorations that much more. Have a great weekend. From Sandy at wholesometalk.com

VERY nice!! You have given me some ideas.... I did find last year that the icicle lights made for outside, go nice on my bannister, but hadn't thought of adding the wreath! Your whole design gives a nice warm christmas feeling!

Your home is beautiful. I LOVE your tree!

Um, I'm not sure you're really going to want to see mine. We've named our tree Phyllis and you'll see why.

Thanks so much for the compliments everyone. We really like it out here. This is our third Christmas here and I get a little better at decorating it each year. I usually do an artificial tree but decided to go with a live pine so we can plant it this year.

Pony girl, we have 2300 square feet. Its 4 bedrooms, 2 bath. You can see some pics of it here.

Love It! Doesn't get much better than the natural wood decorated with some natural greenery.
